6 AnswersDogs5 years agoIs this a good seed starter for cannabis seeds or will it cause them problems?
I took some medical grade pharmasoil (ingredients listed below) from a local store and put it into a coffee grinder and ground it up into a fine mixture. The water retention was high so I added perlite to the mix at a 1:1 ratio.
Will this work and will it work well without killing my seedlings? Should I adjust anything or add anything?
If you know of a better recipe please feel free to share it. 10 pts to the best answer.

2 AnswersGarden & Landscape6 years agoStrawberry plant growing in a pot is sickly...?
At first glance what do you think the issue is?
These are growing in a pot and there are several like them.
Growing in pots is obviously much more challenging than growing in the ground.
Is it over watering, under watering, over fertilization, disease, salt build up maybe?

3 AnswersGarden & Landscape6 years agoPls help with first time and Experimental Compost Tea.?
I'm a first time compost tea'er. So I went to the beach and grabbed a trash bag full of seaweed, kelp and sea grasses. I took it home and rinsed the sand and excess salt off of it. I separated it into three 5 gallon buckets filled them with water and let it sit in the sun for a week. The liquid is a medium amber color which is what I expected. Since reading online I found some things to add to the mixture to improve its qualities. in the last couple of days I added 1/8 cup of brown sugar, air bubblers, 3 tsp of fertilizer for acid loving plants, 2 cups of pureed mixed fruit cuttings (mango cuttings/skin, grapefruit skin, bag of defrosted strawberries, 2 miniature bananas and 1 tomato.) In just one of the buckets I experimented with something extra and added 1 cup of gypsum. The reason why is because it contains 20% sulfur and I'd like to make an acidic compost tea full of microbes that are ready to activate and change my alkaline soil quickly.
Question: Will it work, If it works what can I expect to see from the acidic tea? How long will it take for the microbes to convert the sulfur in to sulfuric acid, if at all etc?
10 points to the experienced compost tea'er that can help me with these questions.
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape7 years agoGrape plant infected with Xylella fastidiosa bacterium, advise pls...?
I treated my grape plant because its Been infested by sharpshooter bugs which have spread the Xylella fastidiosa bacterium that has been causing leaf necrosis. I also have a large lemon tree next to it that's involved also.
I sprayed down the trees with colloidal silver which is known to kill pathogens but I'm not sure what to expect results wise. I've got my fingers crossed, anyone have an idea how effective it might be. And what product should I use to get rid of the sharp shooters, basically, what works, the cheaper the better as i'm on a budget. Raid Foggers?
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape7 years agoHow do you remove an alarm system in an infiniti g20 1996?
My car alarm goes off at all hours by itself and we think it could have something to do with causing the battery to drain. Are their any links to info on this topic, maybe a how to page? I've looked and found out that the manufacturers alarm systems are difficult to remove. But the cost of having the dealer do it is prohibitive. I haven't seen anything that explains how to do it or where I could get specs on how to either. 10 pts to the best answer. (if you don't know, please do not answer. I've already looked into youtube and haven't found any walkthroughs)
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoLegal Californian mobile Bar?
Me and some friends were chit-chatting during the playoffs tonight. We came up with a funny idea then wondered if it could ever be legal. Would it be legal to run a mobile bar from a vehicle much like the ice cream man does with his truck? Besides the obvious liquor license what other licenses would be needed for California?
2 AnswersLaw & Legal7 years agoI'm having lower back muscle spasms, what should I be doing?
I've had lower back muscle problems for years. Last year the doc said I had a sprained back. Since my doctors never give me a straight answer based on my condition, I'm going to ask yahoo answers to give me the best advice. I had some spasms today that doubled me over and knocked me to the ground. I felt like my lower back muscles just gave out completely for about a second. What should I be doing to heal. I've never completely regained full use of my back for the last 20 years since my original injuries. But what should I be doing now? Rest only? Heat? Combination of heat and ice? Exercises? My chiropractor told me that I'm supposed to do these upper torso twists, about 600 per day. But I feel like the muscles are giving out a lot now and seem more unstable. I'm not sure if this is an unstable phase and will pass or if I'm just making myself worse with these exercises at this time. Please help if you know the issues I'm dealing with. 10 points to the most complete answer!
7 AnswersInjuries8 years agoJesus historical question about Jesus Christ and the resurrection?
What happened after the resurrection? There's no books in the bible about it. You would think that this would be his most miraculous act as savior and that he would continue doing his most important work which was building Gods kingdom on earth via the church. So what happened after his death and resurrection? This is one of the most glaring controversies in my opinion and its never talked about.
I'm assuming one of two things, that he was led into hiding and its possible that he never died. Claiming he resurrected himself was a way to avoid double jeopardy so that the Romans could tell the ruling jews that they did their job and carried out the sentence and punishment and could no longer punish him. The other is that he died and the claim of resurrection was made solely to carry on the building of his church.
Please offer you opinions based off of historical perspective. 10 pts to the best perspective and answer!

2 AnswersSoftware8 years agoMade some halloween blood, but it separates when i put it on?
I made some homemade Halloween blood using 2 cups of corn syrup and a small bottle of red food coloring. It looks real but when I put it on my arm it separates and spreads out. What should I add to get it to not separate. I'd also like it to be a food product so that its safe. Also is there something else that I can add to make it dry or solidify quicker so that it doesn't drip all over the place the entire night? 10 points to the best most complete answer!
4 AnswersHalloween8 years agoNeed an experienced boaters advice on a boat?
I plan on purchasing a boat and dont know much about the motor or even what to look for to make sure its going to hold up or if its on its last legs.
I plan on doing some offshore fishing, no more than a mile out. I plan on hitting areas in southern California like the Carlsbad kelp bed for bass, an maybe some firecracker yellowtails further south. Please give me your opinion on this boat and if the hull appears worthy of the areas I'd like to fish, (the last thing i want to do is get swamped and capsize) How far out could a boat like this safely go? And any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks, 10 points to the best answer!
6 AnswersBoats & Boating8 years agoWhy does my van keep dieing out?
I have a 95 chevy astro van. It keeps dieing when we drive it. My wife had it taken to a repair shop. They had the cat converter replaced (it needed it), then we had the fuel filter, spark plugs and wires, distributor cap replaced. We think it could be a fuel pump or the cat. It only dies after driving it in the heat and after its been running for a while. Any ideas? 10 pts to the best answer!
