Legal Californian mobile Bar?
Me and some friends were chit-chatting during the playoffs tonight. We came up with a funny idea then wondered if it could ever be legal. Would it be legal to run a mobile bar from a vehicle much like the ice cream man does with his truck? Besides the obvious liquor license what other licenses would be needed for California?
True about open alcohol and moving vehicles. But if the open alcohol is in the "trunk" of a "passenger vehicle" when moving then its considered legal. Also just found out that my sister in law worked on a roach coach that served wine and beer.
Still looking for legal facts, not just personal views and opinions.

The liquor license would be the huge deal. I can't see this working. You're involving drinking and open liquor in a motor vehicle, which itself is illegal in a huge number of places.

Doubtful because of alcohol on the streets (not allowed in many areas) and a permit process taht would probably not be granted.
