The pits are more likely to turn around and kill each other before the wolves ever get to them.
But as Lachos said, wolves are extremely intelligent and are more likely to 'think things through' than charge in headfirst

In all honesty there would be no fight as the Wolves would not confront the bull terrier singly they have far more intellect they would lure them away and kill them singly in a group. It is the tactics of Wolf, Hence he has survived all mans onslaughts to wipe him off the face of the Earth since time began. Wolves are very expert at attacking animals on the run the pit would have lumps bitten off it and not a chance.... They are the facts like them or not

I currently own and work a Wolfdog ive seen his tactics while hunting very often i'm a Shepherd and he is an excellent Sheepdog...He runs his prey directly at my Heeler she turns them and its the preys last turn of its life he is like a vacume cleaner....
