Is there vegan sour cream?
It was an ingredient in a "Vegan" cookbook. Not vegan sourcream, just sour cream.

Yes there are vegan versions of sour cream.
Tofutti is probably the most widely available one or, if you're in the US, Follow Your Heart

There is fake vegan sour cream, yes. It's not real cream - of course. You are just going to have to go look for what is available in your area - we aren't psychic.

You can mix Tofutti cream cheese with a bit of soya milk and a dash of vinegar only a few drops, I did this for my friends wife's vegan bakery and cafe, I am a former chef and play with making alternative food ingredients, the fat free sour cream with dairy is not really Sc either just milk and binders.

It almost seems like Veganism is a form of OCD. They can't let anything be eaten in it's original and natural form and don't rest until they have created some kind of inedible Franken-food.
