New Acer Laptop won't let me sign into account?
Okay, so I bought an Acer laptop about a week ago. It was working great! However, yesterday I noticed a problem. First, I should tell you that I installed Nortin Antivirus and I scan regularly for viruses. So anyway, I go to the log in page for windows accounts. I have my guest account, and then my personal admin account. The Guest one signs in every time. However, when I go to sign into my Admin account, that's where the problem starts. 1 of 2 things happen. Either I begin to type my password and it freezes, then my cursor disappears and I can't do anything (resulting in me doing a forced shut down) OR I type in my password, click enter, click the arrow, click ANYTHING and nothing happens. No error message, just nothing. It stays there with my password typed in. Please any sort of help!
It didn't happen right after I installed Nortin. I downloaded Nortin the day I got it.

did the problem occur right after u installed norton?
if so you can try doing a system restore (providing you have created an automatic restore point) and go back to the point before you installed the norton.
other than that, since it has only been a week since you bought the laptop, you can try asking the sales clerk who sold you the laptop and ask him for advice.
