My hair's layers have majorly grown out and I need help controlling them?

I got my hair layered back in January and I haven't had it cut/ re-layered since. I used to poof my hair up so it looked "emo". My layers are so grown out that my hair poofs out at the sides instead of the top. I can't get my hair cut for a while, so do you have any advice on how i can make my hair look "emo" still?

Also, I like my hair straightened, and my bangs get reeeaaaallllyyyy frizzy if i straighten them.

I dont want to buy product for my hair.

Thanks :D

You don't want to cut or buy products, so you won't be getting much help.

You need to re-layer your hair. I do it myself, but it's better to go to a pro

because you can't see the back of your head very well.

There's plenty of hair straightening products at Walmart for frizzy bangs.

If you want your layers to grow out and eventually have hair all one length,

wear it in a pony tail or an updo for now.
