    4. 3/5y + a = b, for y

    is the 3 over 5y or (3/5)y

    if (3/5)y + a = b

    Not sure (I haven't done maths for years!) but about this:

    1. 3x = 7 + 4y x = (7 + 4y) / 3

    2. 15y = x - 1 y= (x-1) / 15

    3. ex = 3z + 2y x = (3z + 2y) /e

    4. 3/5y = b - a 3*5y / 5y = 5y / (b-a) 3 = 5y / (b-a) 3 (b-a) = 5y y = (3 (b-a)) / 5
