Calais To Toulouse

i have a home in france ..close to perpignon ...so drive it at least 6 times a year ..having tried every route ..the best and quickest is as follows ..calais -paris -before entering paris take road to Bordeaux ..--then pick up road to orleon ..straight down to toulouse --turn left on road to barcelona ..they are all signposted ...at narbonne turn south to barcelona ...lloret is a turn off ...tolls circa£60 ..you will need credit card as some are card only ...not true about booths checking how fast you are driving ...but in tunnels .no more than 70 ...they have cameras in every one ...and where they say there is a camera ..there is ...keep at 85 and you will be fine ..you will need to carry a Triangle ..breakdown ..documents ..visible jacket ...and a breathalyser kit ..i drive it non stop ..except for fuel etc and it takes me 13 hours ...for you expect 15 to lloret ...its duel carriageway from one end to the other ..yes the road via lyon is shorter but its got single carriageways and is no quicker...ADD have had a look at the AA route ..that route to paris and around is not right ...you need the arras road .....go past charles degaule airport ..then pick up bordeaux road
