Nutrition advice for building lean muscle mass?

Hello,

So I've been working out for about a year now and overall I've gained some great results. However, in order to take my results to the next level and keep myself from reaching a plateau I'd like to get my diet in order as well. I'm 17 at 5'5'' and weigh 110lbs. I know that it would require a lot more information to give me a fully realized plan, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'd just like some tips and guidelines on what to eat, what not to eat, etc. Something simple to get me started in the right direction that I can build on later. I'm looking to gain lean muscle mass, so mass plus definition. Also, if anyone has some weightlifting advice it would be appreciated. If anyone knowledgeable is willing to email me that would be great!

Update:

P.S. I don't take any supplements and would prefer to keep it that way. They're just too expensive and don't seem all that necessary.
