Rosetta Stone doesn't work?

The speaking section of the program, (in my case spanish) is terrible. I have to say a word or phrase many many times and if often still doesn't work. I've found that changing my voice to match certain cartoon characters often helps. When talking as an angry Vegeta or just regular Kermit The Frog I find the voice software understands me better. ... ... ARE YOU READING THIS?!?!?!?! I have to alter the sound of my voice to proceed with the lesson. Rosetta Stone may work but I can't get further in the lessons because although I an enunciating the spanish word perfectly the software chooses not to recognize that I am speaking correctly. Before any of you morons out there tell me it's a simple fix i'll let you know I have tried 3 different microphones, I have tried using the program on both my laptop and home computer, I have eliminated background noise, I have increased background noise (fans, vacuums, air conditioners, etc.) and I have let otehrt people say the words and phrases, some of them even speak spanish and nothing seems to work. The program is broken and unless I get an answer or a fix I'm just going to return this garbage and get my 300 dollars back.

Update:

Yeah, Stiener there is a guarantee, But I know this isn't an isolated incident having seen it on other forums and since I'd rather fix it then return it, wait 2 weeks for it to get there and then wait 2 weeks for another just to find out it has the same problem I was hoping someone would have a fix, like "rosetta stone works best with a certain mic" or "there is some setting I have to change but haven't". But congrats on not being helpful at all.

Update 2:

Like I said Phil I'd rather get it working then just send it back, kind of dumb to just spend 300 dollars and give up, maybe that's something you like to do often Phil, that and make inane comments on YA! but having spent the money, yeah I'm a little angry, spending money on stuff that doesn't work right makes people angry, maybe if you had a little more life experience you would know these things, what are you 12?

Send it back and ask for a replacement.

Isn't there some sort of guarantee on

    Rosetta Stone?

Edit: Since you don't want to return it,

why not contact the company and see

what they say? I really was trying

    to be helpful.

Just return it, angry man. It clearly doesn't work with you.
