How long to partition a 1 terabyte drive?

Just started installing Windows XP onto a replacement drive in a not too ancient Dell I saved from a junk pile. Obviously have some time to kill so here's ten points to the closest guess.

Update:

Create and format the 1TB partition. It's been working at it for 45 minutes and is about 42%. Not like it really matters. It's all in fun anyway. Well maybe not that much fun. I think I'll take a nap and see if it's finished in the morning.

    Partition, format or install XP?

    Edit: probably about 2 hours to format

    40 mins-1 hour depending on the speed of that HDD
