How to lable and ship using envelopes?
So I've Been selling Trading cards online for a couple of months now. And although i enjoy doing it, and the buyers are pleased... I am not. I am being told by Yardsellr (where i sell) that i need a tracking number. They told me USPS gives free lables. Well i wondered around the USPS site for some time, and Finally found the shipping assistant program. Well.. Cool but i have no idea what to do with it, or how to use it.
I am Shipping the Cards in envelopes with all the usual things you need for sending a letter. BUT when i went through all of the shipping assistants settings, i never found any settings for something as small as an envelope.
in short. Im trying to find out what i need to include on a shipping lable for an envelope.
I've had people claim they never got their card, and i lose out on my money because of it... and i've stopped selling until i figure this tracking stuff out.
My entire Goal is to ship these cards, With some sort of tracking, for as cheap as possible. I dont want to have buyers turning away from me because i have an expensive shipping cost... and most of these cards only sell for around a Dollar anyhow! 0.o
@Skypod See that is completely useless to me.. These cards cost anywhere from 1-10 dollars. Any Rarer and im lucky to have them. But to ask someone to pay $2+ for a $1 listing isnt right...
Ill do some more research, but thanks for what you did mention. It will help with the other items that i ship. =)

The least expensive way to ensure a letter is delivered is Certified Mail, which allows you to track when your item was delivered or delivery was attempted, and requires the signature of the recipient. Certified costs $2.95. You can get the labels for free, but you need to go to the Post Office to pay for and send it.
[EDIT] I'm sorry I wasn't more help for the cards. I can't imagine how he wants you to track something so inexpensive. I glad I could help with something anyway :)
