i think its just better to drive down there and pick her up. when i read the question and the first line, i thought u were all the way in California or something. Its only a 3-4 1/2 hour drive (one way) and it would be worth it, rather than going through all that and paying unnecessary money to air her for such a short distance. on top of that, its always a good idea to meet the person in person, because it also seems just a bit shady to just fly the cat without making any prior arrangements.

there is a regular pet transport service/google it and get the rates
