Should I delete the files on my new external HDD?
So I just bought me a "Toshiba Automatic Backup Portable Hard Drive." It is red and is 1TB. I noticed that it had LOTS of files already installed and since I really do not care for the backup aspect of it, I really want to delete them. I just want this HDD for storing my videos and othe rlarge files. Problem is, when I try to delete them, it tells me that deleting those files may damage the system. I wanted to go ahead and do it anyways but decided against it. Should I go ahead and delete them? I noticed that Win 7 has a wizard for selecting this HDD for backup ANYWAYS so I really do not need the pre-installed software. Any suggestions?

Most likely not, however copy the files to a special folder, on your internal drive. So that if you do need them, you have them backedup.
