Why i can't able to change my avatar picture on Yahoo Answers....?

Me too had some problem with changing my avatar few days back.

yesterday I read your question and try to change my avatar and it has changed now, so I think you have also wait for few days, hope so it will be fine soon.

One of the Yahoo small glitches. It sometimes does not let a user change their username or their profile pic.

You can try this...

•Go to your Yahoo pulse.

http://pulse.yahoo.com/

~ Hover your mouse on your "Profile pic" that is on the middle of the page, then click on "Change Picture"

~ Choose a picture from "Upload" (Your computer/laptop) or "Facebook" (Facebook has to be linked to your Yahoo in order it to work).

~ After you have found the right picture just click on it once and then click Open.

You should have a new Profile pic for your Yahoo then. That includes your Yahoo!Answers and other Yahoo applicants.

If you see it didn't work, try doing that again but this time go to "Yahoo" meaning to the Yahoo.com after you have chosen your new profile pic.

This happens sometimes to me as well as many other users as well. Try changing it from Pulse profile if the Yahoo!Answers changing system doesn't works.

go to my activity > view my yahoo profile... and change your picture there...click on the image saying UPLOAD and upload your pic.... it doesn't work under "edit my preferences"....

edit - try uploading pictures with lesser kb... use jpeg formats... you can convert it into jpeg format using ms paint... also wait for 2-3 minutes... sometimes it takes time for an upload... high speed internet is better...

I cant seem to upload new pics to my profile either.

It will let me choose from already uploaded pics, but I cannot upload a new one.

Theres alot of glitches today, im having problems submitting answers

Change it from yahoo profile. If it doesn't change from there then it is part of site maintainance.

I'm remaining anonymous; far better that way. Just leave it the way it is; it is kinda mysterious lol...
