How to tell dad I'm talking to a 19 y/o?
I am 15 and recently I've been talking a 19 y/o guy. I have liked him for a while and I'm still grasping the fact that he wants to date. I told my mom already but my dad doesn't know yet. She said that chances are, he'll say no. This guy is the best..old fashioned manners, knows how to treat a lady, shows respect, etc. He told me there's more things to make people happy in a relationship than sex. So here's the thing: I want to talk to my dad about it and slowly introduce him to the idea. Any suggestions how?

He want's to "date?" That means have sex, pure and simple. You are putting this guy in a really tight spot, he wants to have sex with you and he will end up in jail. Your Dad will freak, because he knows the deal.
As a 15 year old you cannot legally consent to this relationship.

i think if you just planned it out that your with your dad somewhere and the guy is there and you introduce him as a friend then let him show your dad how respectful and nice he is as a friend until your dad loves him then later be like dad i date him he should be okay with it. hope this helps
