Rate the name Jett Maverick please. We like unusual names and so far, this is the only one we can agree on?

I think Jett is cool solid name but Maverick NO. Keep the Maverick name associated with basketball.

Depends. A kid named Jett sounds both pretentious and afflicted with learning disabilities. Jett won't be a cool toddler forever. He'll have a very awkward teenage period once he stops letting you put faux-hawks in his hair with mom's hairspray. He'll do alright in college and maybe rush a good frat, but does Jett get taken seriously after the fun has ended? Or do his colleagues wonder if his parents watched too much Top Gun? Well, he prolly will just end up selling car insurance with a cheesy hook like, "Come see Jett to get coverage for your 'Vette!" Good luck, Jett.
