Friendzoned? 10 POINTS?

I met a guy (let's call him J) when I was out drinking with friends. We exchanged numbers and talked every day for a while. I went around his house a few times and we watched movies together. After the first visit he text me afterwards to tell me he thought it was great there was no sexual tension between us, that he was very comfortable being around me and he really enjoyed my company. He is always first to text and he started putting kisses on the end of his texts goodnight

I recently started house sitting a home in a beach side town 4 hours from home. J mentioned him and some friends coming down that way while I was there as they wanted a holiday and the town is a beachside tourist town.I offered them to stay where I was to save on a hotel as I had a spare room.

A few days before they were going to arrive I mentioned I was bored and J said as he had some time off work he would come down overnight to keep me company. We wandered around town then watched movies most of the night and the next morning until he went back.

When he and 2 of his mates came down the day after we got along great. I stayed up all night one night just talking to one of them about random things. We have a great amount in common and I think I am starting to really like J, but I've no idea what to do. I'm quite shy and awkward around people but I am very comfortable with him.

I feel like I have been well and truely friend zoned and just don't know if I should try flirting or leave it and go for another guy.

What should I do? Is there a chance he likes me back? Or am I deep in the friendzone?
