Effect of cutting back on soy?

I am a young adult, female, and exercise regularly (4-5 times a week, at least an hour a day). I used to regularly drink soy milk (about 1 small carton a week) and replaced it with almond milk 10 weeks ago. I replaced it because I was concerned about the hormonal side effects of soy but didn't really research too deeply on the matter.

What are the effects of cutting back soy milk from my diet?

not a whole lot. almonds have alot less phytoestrogens than soymilk does, almonds do have some. i wouldn't worry as long as your not having cow milk, or cow cheese, or butter as those products contain large amounts of female sex hormones --harvard.edu
