How can I make my daughter sleep better in her crib?

My five month old wakes up multiple times a night when she sleeps in her crib. She sleeps in her rocker sometimes and she'll sleep seven hours straight. I thought it might be the angle so I made it to where there's a bit of an incline similar to her rocker but it still doesn't work. I don't know what the problem is.

Has she been in her crib all her life? If so then it is possible illness or possible growth spurts keeping her up at night.

Have you recently started her sleeping in a crib? If so it is going to take awhile for her to get use to it.

You can't MAKE a child sleep. Sadly that is one thing we can't control.

Source(s): homeschooling mom of 3 - our kids slept in cribs from about 3-5wks on. Before that they were in a bassinet in our room.
