I assume you have already asked this question of a high school counselor. If not, I suggest you do so soon. Plus, learn all you can from a HS counselor about how to choose a college/university which will not only meet your academic and career goals but also fit into your/your parents' budget. Be sure to learn about the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid - http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ )
Also, ask a HS counselor about any student aid the state of New Jersey may offer for students who are residents of the state.
After that . . .
Once you have a short list of colleges/universities to which you have already applied or will apply to for admittance, look on the Financial Aid/Scholarships web sites of those schools. Many colleges/universities* have scholarship/grant funds (funds that do not need to be repaid) for just their own students. Staff members of the colleges/universities may need the info from your completed FAFSA or may need a completed CSS Profile (from the College Board – https://profileonline.collegeboard.com/prf/index.j... ) to determine if you will be awarded any scholarships/grants. Scholarships generally require excellent high school grades or college/univ. grades. You can telephone the Financial Aid Office of the school(s) you wish to attend and ask about scholarships or look for info about them on the schools' Financial Aid web pages.
*By colleges/universities I mean: local taxing district funded community colleges, state government funded colleges & universities, & private/independent non-profit colleges/universities (not to be confused with for-profit/career/proprietary colleges, which 1st & foremost are businesses with the main focus of earning profits for their shareholders.)
This web page lists some scholarships for which Asian American students may be qualified:
Scholarships.com - Asian Scholarships

This web page also lists some:
College Scholarships - Searching for Asian American Scholarships?

I also recommend these good online databases:
Scholarship Search from the well-respected College Board:
* https://bigfuture.collegeboard.org/scholarship-sea...
Click on the Start button.
If you choose to register (free – registration is not required) to return later & modify your search strategy, feel secure you will not receive spam emails.
CollegeNet Mach25 Scholarship Search database:
* http://www.collegenet.com/mach25/app
No registration required. Scholarships specific to particular colleges/universities are included in the Mach25 database.
Don't select too many defining terms in your search strategy, which may result in a poor scholarship search result.
MyCollegeOptions.org Scholarship Search
* http://www.mycollegeoptions.org/
Once on the home page, move your cursor to the Search link near the top of the page. When the links for Colleges, High Schools, Scholarships appear, move your cursor to Scholarships and click on that. You will then see the Welcome page with tabs for search choices. See the tabs for Scholarships by Location, Major, Ethnicity, & Religion. Choose one of those tabs and click on it to conduct a scholarship search without having to register. Only the Advanced search requires registration (which I don't recommend.) The web site Privacy Policy indicates that registrant information will be kept private. However, that is not the case. If you register, be prepared to get spam email from many for-profit/career/proprietary schools. Scholarships specific to particular colleges/universities will be included in the search results.
With the results of the scholarship search databases you will have to look at each scholarship option in the results & the info on the scholarship granting organization web pages to determine if you qualify to apply.
Beware of many other "scholarship search" web sites. Many have info on contests & require registration to use, resulting in a lot of spam email. Read their privacy policies very carefully regarding selling/giving your info to 3rd parties. If they sell/give your info to 3rd parties, avoid them.
When you do find a scholarship for which you want to apply, make sure you meet the scholarship requirements, be sure to follow the application rules to the letter; use perfect spelling, grammar & punctuation; & submit your application before the deadline.
Many other students will be applying for the same scholarships & only a few or maybe just 1 will be awarded. Please do not pin all your hopes of higher education financing on being awarded any or enough scholarship/grant funds to cover all your college expenses.
I hope you have been saving any gift money & earnings – as much as possible for a number of years.
