Is there an equivalent of the Muslim "taqwa" in Christianity?
It's the concept of being self-aware and aware of the world and of God (Allah)'s significance in the world. Please research before you give such a useless answer.
I mean, does Christianity have its own term for religious self-awareness and awareness of God's omnipresence?

Taqwa is not something easily to translate. Effectively it is doing that which is right so as not to offend god. But as much of christianity believes in free will rather than qadar many will be choosing to do what they want to do.

I can only talk about taqwa in Islam. Quran has numerous verses on taqwa or rememberance of God which indicates accordingly it's importance and the reason it's reminded often is because it's forgotten often. Rememberance means you remember something you knew before. *
Taqwa often interpreted as God consciousness or fear Allah but it literally means to place in between you and what you fear a a protection- it is to act in His obedience and steer away from disobeying Him, performing that which is beloved to Him and abandoning whatever displeases Him, – it is to love Him, fear Him and have great hope in Him.
Abu Hurayrah regarding taqwa said “Have you ever trodden along a thorny path?” ‘Yes’ said the questioner. “What did you do?” asked Abu Hurayrah. He replied, “If I saw a thorn, I moved away from it or crossed over it or held back from it.” – “That is taqwa” said Abu Hurayrah.
“O you who believe! Have taqwa of Allah and see what you have prepared for tomorrow” (Quran Al-Hashr: 18)
"t is the shield which the believer uses to protect himself from the plots of Satan. It is that which saves a person from the brink of destruction in this life and in the Hereafter." *
When the Messenger was asked, “What is the thing which enters people into Paradise the most?” he replied “Taqwa and a good character”
Regarding taqwa ‘Umar ibn ‘Abdil-‘Azeez would say “Taqwa is not fasting by day and standing for prayer by night… but taqwa is to desert what Allaah has forbidden and to fulfil what He has commanded – and whoever puts forth goodness after that, then that is khayr (good)upon khayr.
Attributed to ‘Ali ibn Abi Talib (radhiallahu `anhu) when asked by Ibn Shurayh to describe the people of taqwa (piety)"...............They observe patience for a few days and experience everlasting comfort. This is a profitable exchange that their Lord has made pleasant for them. The world tempts them, but they do not succumb....................."

Taqwa is the third stage of faith after having knowledge and performing deeds.Since Christianity is only faith and lacking in deeds, reaching taqwa is certainly out of question.
Similarly, Christianity is also missing akhlaq (which is the higher and objective morality as compared to ethics) as it was not given to the previous ummah.

Most of them pick and choose what to follow, totally ignoring commands of God which don't suit their tastes.. you have zero taqwa when you are doing that. In fact, they also don't have the Muslim doctrine of "tawheed" (Oneness of God), either. Associating Jesus (pbuh) and the Holy Spirit (Angel Gabriel) with God is polytheism.

Christianity is taqwa.
Definitions become confused because there are bogus Muslims and bogus Christians who do not follow the principle.

I don't know what that is, but since all religions are basically the same, I would venture a guess and say - Yes
