Will my messages and photos be deleted when I get my new iPhone?

Firstly you'll need a need a new sim, they've changed from the mini sim to the nano sim. The best way to transfer files it to email them to yourself or use something like iCloud to transfer them, just reinstall all your apps on your new phone by going onto the app store and going to purchased apps.

Yes messages will unless you save it to the Sim card also the same with everything else. Could also try sending the pics to yourself in an email and just re-save them(prob best for people who don't take a lot of pictures). Contacts will be transferred when you get your new phone (even tho i hate the iPhone) Music is the easiest if you have I tunes (which im sure you do) Just put the music back onto the phone.

Be on the safe side and plug them both into the comp and transfer it manually first. If that dosent work you can blue tooth it over or even have the people at the store do it for you for free when you get your new phone. If they wont the people at best buy will for free as well

Nope thats the wonders of cloud saving. I just recently switch from an older driod to the driod razr on a completely different network fearing the worse pics vids contacts apps being gone the verizon rep handed me my new phone and i was pleasantly suprised to see all of my stuff on it!!!
