my computer won't play any videos?

Question

my computer won't play any videos. everything else works perfectly, except for that. at first i thought it was just youtube but now i realize it's videos on any site. i recently moved and my computer hadn't been used for about 3 weeks, i don't know if maybe it missed an update or something because of that? i just started using it again a few days ago after i got my internet set up. the internet is the same speed & through the same carrier that i had at my old apartment when it did play videos. any thoughts as to why it won't play anything?

Update:

when i go directly to youtube it will play about 30 seconds, but then it seems like it can't load the rest of the video to play it. if i try to watch an embedded video or something on a website it won't play it at all. my computer is a sony vaio, it's about 3 years old. it runs windows 7

To run a video on computer you should have latest version of Java and Adobe flash installed. Links are given below. Before you install new version it will be better if you could clear Internet Browser Cookies/History.

when u go on the web & u see a chip with the play arrow on it & u click on it does it play, if so ur can play video's, to bad u didn't put in what kind of computer????or what OS ur running?????....hope the has helped if so, pass it on
