why is this so forbidden?
my friend (H) likes my brother's friend (c). she's a freshman and he's a senior. she really likes him, but doesnt actually know him. she doesnt go to the same school as him, and only knows things about him from what she sees on his facebook profile, and from what i say about him. she's way too nervous to talk to him. should she message him and start up a conversation? is it wrong for her to like him?

It's not a good idea. I'm a senior and I see tons of guys my age using the freshman and sophomores just for sex. It's disgusting, but those guys pretend to be sweet and caring to these younger girls. Once they get sex off them they just dump them.
It's not exactly wrong for her to like him. Everyone loves hot senior boys. They are always tempting and it's not her fault, but she will most likely get hurt. The boy she likes is probably already planning for college and life AFTER high school. Freshman are just beginning it, so tell your friend to find a boy who's her age. She'll be much happier. :)

There's nothing wrong with it although there is not point to it. He'll move on to college(I'm assuming) so there is no chance of there ever being a relationship between the two of them. Also, it is highly unlikely that he will like her back since the difference in age when you are that young makes a huge difference in both appearance and behavior.

Why would it be? Because of the social stigma of a senior dating a freshmen? When you get older, you stop caring about something as trivial as popularity, as that ceases to be important after high school. Do whatever you want no matter who says.
