What killings Americans have done in the world?
Someone commented:
Nonsense! Muhammad isn't their forefather. And I'd never kill anyone for simply not agreeing with my sweet hunky-dory image of my 112th great grandfather or something.

Americans by which I assume you mean people from the United States have had their hand either directly or indirectly in much of the killing of the 20th and 21st centuries. Basically from the time they entered the 2nd world war.
I'm not suggesting for a second that they are the only responsible parties in the current mess the world is in, but to hold the opinion that the US is completely justified for all the pressure they have placed upon the rest of the world in the name of 'National Security' would be a position of willful ignorance.

Americans dropped nuclear bombs on civilian targets in Japan at a time of day designed to maximise civilian casualties.
They have invaded numerous countries since then killing thousands of the indiginous populations and large numbers of their allies in the process.
They are currently in Afghanistan where along with enemy targets, they seem to be taking out a number of women and children too. Collateral damage I think they call it.
As well as directly killing then enemy directly, they have outsourced to countries like Israel who they have supplied with weapons of mass destruction, including illegal weapons

Well, pretty much Americans aren't killing BECAUSE OF THEIR RELIGION. They're killing b/c they're told to kill by their superiors. So these are their choices: obey. Go to prison. Maybe get shot on the spot by their own superior officers. It's an F'd up system but as long as we have Muslims who are willing, even eager to fly planes into us, I'm glad they're around.
My superior officer says 'shoot'. I have to shoot. Or go to prison. Or be shot.
A Muslims superior officer tells him to 'shoot'. He has to shoot. Or go to prison. Or be shot. I understand this. I don't begrudge him doing what he has to do. It's an F'd up world but he's in the military. I was in the military. I get it.
My priest says 'shoot'. I tell him to go F' himself and I never go back to his church.
An imam tells one of his followers to 'shoot'. The Muslim shoots and then goes and decapitates the guy and then dances next to his bleeding corpse.
See the difference?

Probably a lot but very little, if any, of which has been conducted in the explicit name of a religion.
