Want to get my G.E.D on averge how long would this take?

I'm no good at math on the count of me not dealing with math for a while. how long does it take an average person to get there GED.

    I took a practice test which took a day. It took a day to do the actual test and about 2 months to get your certificate. But I'm only talking from experience.

    Dan m bro were on the same page, i just bought my McGraw-Hill's GED book but im too scared of math that i completely forgot there was science and history in the test ;/ Im aiming to take my test within 6-8 months since it hasn't been that long that i visited my last school about 3 years ago.
