Does anyone know about postgraduate funding available in the UK?
I am thinking of applying to do a Masters in Acting next year. I already have a degree in Law. The courses cost up to £17,000 for one year. Does anyone know of any funding I may be entitled to, or scholarships/bursaries I could apply for?

Many people fund postgrad courses with Career Development Loans (CDL), but these are only available for certain courses - usually those where people are very certain to get a job at the end of them. I'm thinking acting may not come within that remit.
The best advice will come from the finance or postgrad office or even the admissions tutor of the course you're considering. They will be able to tell you how students generally fund the course.
Otherwise, you need to spend a lot of time on the internet. There are a number of sites, for eg:
which try and locate sources of funding which might be available.
It can be a very laborious task, but there is actually quite a lot of money out there if you fulfil the right criteria for small grant-making charities - for eg there's quite a lot for children of military families
