can You remove Background Noise from Tv Audio?

I have Sensitive Hearing, in that When watching a TV show, I have trouble hearing the Spoken Words, because the Background Music, and Sound Effects, seem to Overwhelm the Verbal.

It seems that they have placed the background music, and Sound effects, at the same, or higher volume than the Spoken Words, which makes it very uncomfortable to try and listen to the Actors, amid all the Music, and crash, and bang sound effects!

Is there any device that can be placed in between the tv audio output, that will enhance the verbal audio, and at the same time, diminish the bacground music, and sound effects?

It would make My life so much more Pleasant!

Kindest Regards, any assistance, would be Most appreciated!

If you have a receiver try changing your sound effects settings. Or you can just put on the subtitles.

if there is a NOISE REDUCTION on tv menu ....try it.
