2013 gti 2dr VW. Want it to last forever!?

Just got the car about a month ago. I would love to keep it as long as possible. It's a 2 door, 4 cylinder 2.0 with a turbo. It's already a great car. I plan on keeping in for years and years.

It is a stick shift car. No transmission.

I can keep the outside of the car looking great. (i know how to wash and wax a car). I just don't know how to keep everything under the hood working to its optimal capacity.

What can I do now to help my car keep running in years to come?

Use a full synthetic oil such as Mobil 1 or Castrol in the EXACT viscosity specified in your owners manual. (5w20 or 0w30 as example) change it per the schedule. change the coolant and flush according to the maintenance schedule. Use premium coolant per the exact spec. follow all other mainteace schedules in chart. After hard driving allow engine to idle for minute before shut down to cool turbo bearings and oil. Happy motoring. it sounds like a very nice car.
