Better waiver wire pick up at Running Back fantasy football?

Daniel Thomas with the Phins in replacement of Reggie Bush who is rumored to miss the next couple of weeks or Ryan Williams with the Arizona Cardinals? Who do you think has the more upside?? Thanks!,

    I'll say Ryan Williams.

Previously Thomas hasn't exactly stepped up and shined when given the opportunity, and Bush apparently isn't all that hurt and should return to action soon. Also, keep in mind that Lamar Miller is just as likely (if not possibly more so) as Thomas to be the main back IF Bush suffers any kind of a setback or finds himself dealt near the trading deadline.

As for Williams, simply put the Cards drafted him because they weren't exactly sold on Beanie Wells. Wells is injury prone, and (surprise, surprise) he's injured again and dealing with turf toe now. Turf toe is one of those injuries that linger and can affect performance all season.

It's fairly close, but Williams is the better add for now, since his situation is better than what Thomas currently finds himself in.
