What's the best lotions for use with tanning beds?

I haven't been in at tanning bed in many many years, but I am going to Bermuda for Halloween, and I am going to tan a few weeks in advance. I have been looking for a good lotion that I can start using after a couple of weeks to help me increase my tanning potential. Do you have any suggestions? I plan on using my old reliable Body Quench after I tan, but I am looking for something that will help me tan besides bronzers.

i am trying to tan quick for my wedding and I am very very pale. They think I can have a nice tan in a month. I bought the monarchy 7x bronzing lotion, which they say is best for tanning fast, because of all the bronzers. starting off i am going in for 6 mins about 4-5 times a week. then when i get some color they are goign to be alternating standing beds and laying down beds for me to get color everywhere since i am wearing a strapless dress. they will also add a min every so often and if i get too pink take a min. good luck i hope this helps this is what a very nice certified salon told me EDIT: I ALSO WANT TO ADD... that the lotion i bought is really good for keepign your skin soft. i took a shower afterwards and my skin still feels silky and i only tanned for 6 mins and i got a little color anyway i think this is because of the bronzer. just make sure to buy it online i spent 60 on it and i could have bought it online for 30

I can understand why you would want to get a tan, but please a self-tanning lotion and avoid the tanning bed. There have been so many reports lately about how dangerous tanning beds are. (See Sources) I recommend a really good, conditioning foaming sunless tanner like this one:

Protecting skin from the sun is a must, but that doesn’t mean you can’t achieve a sun-kissed glow the healthy way. The lightweight, oil-free, mess-free sunless tanning foam applies easily and dries quickly. The effective dual-active formula ensures even, natural-looking color without exposure to the harmful UVA and UVB rays. It contains Rodan + Fields’ RF-Dcell technology, which is derived from dormant narcissus bulb extract, to “quench” the rate of cell hyper-proliferation and extend the duration of the sunless tan. Antioxidant vitamins A, C and E protect skin from free radical damage.

I use jergens natural glow moisturizer after I've been in the tanning bed a couple times. It works really good.
