Assign the IUPAC name for the given compound problem - Organic chem 1?

I was asked to label these two:

1:http://tinypic.com/r/315d1c4/6

2:http://tinypic.com/r/2hd07ie/6

for 1 I got the answer: 1,1,1-tribromyl-3,3,3-trifloropropane

for 2 I got the answer:1-bromo-1-chloro-1-floro-2-methyl

butane

I'm positive that I am labeling the molecule correctly based on structure and not IUPAC rules, however the answer apparently is wrong. is there some way to combine using IUPAC rules the "bromo, chloro, floro" etc descriptors into one or something if they are on the same carbon atom?

You are spelling them wrong. It is FLUORO not floro.
