What would happen if Mitt & Ann Romney gave away all their money?

Newsweek estimates they both own $265 million dollars. With America having around 300,000,000 people, I would think that each person should get 85¢ (with the government getting the 1/3 cent from everyone as a sort of a "tax").

However, I was thinking about this, and though, well, given the way the taxes worked, we should have it be bracketed and, of course, only give it to those actually filling out tax returns. So, that means, even if someone filed jointly with someone, they'll get treated as one person. Make sense? This means that each person (well, technically, each return) in the US should get $1.96, but let's say $2.

People making less than $50,000 a year would get $2.50 (it's fair, they need more help, but not too much, then they'll be mooching). So, since around 95 million are in this bracket, we're left with $27.5 million dollars.

To compensate for this, people making between $50k and $1 million a year would get... I dunno, let's say 50¢. We have to make the money somewhere, right? With 38 million Americans here, I think, that means we're left with around $1.44 million.

The rich, since they are the last, should get it evenly split up amongst them. With about 155,000 people making over $1 million a year.... that means they should get $9! They need the most money because they create jobs.

I think this would be the fairest way to distribute this money. Eventually, those nine dollars *may* work their way down to the lower classes. Who agrees with me?

I can see now why we use the same idea for our taxes!

Update:

Not really tunnel vision, but nice try, Obamafan.

If anything "wishful thinking." I can't wait for Romney to win so we can use this obviously perfect model. This new thought has changed the way I view Obama. He is obviously a Marxist Socialist Pacifist Radical that aims to remove US Democracy and Oligarchy.

Update 2:

They won't be broke, they are included in the top earners, too! They'll each get $4.50. That's why this model is perfect. Even the Romneys will get something back. :-)

Update 3:

Hey hexa, you can't give 310 million American citizens one million dollars and have the bill come out to $500 million.

Please learn to math.

I swear, Obama supporters!

Update 4:

A gold star! Oh my gosh!

I am so glad! I can't wait to receive my Noble Prize in Money for finally showing why tinkle (oops, I meant, trickle) down economics is the best.

Update 5:

"Edit: @ orange 1 million times 310 = 310 million and I am not an Obama supporter I am voting for Romney."

Excuse you, one million times 310 million is 310,000,000,000,000... learn to math, again, thanks.

But I am so glad you are voting for Romney! God bless you and all your children and your eggs and any sperm your husband produces. I take back what I said about you before.

Update 6:

Also, for the record, I have a job. I am a software engineer for Romney. In fact, you have have seen my most recent work: http://goo.gl/kaTWJ I am very proud of it... But Mittens wasn't as happy. :(

Update 7:

I am a straight up Republican!! We're on the same side together!!

Update 8:

joe m: I think it was Ronald Reagan, except he called it "supply side economics" instead of tinkle down economics.

They'd be broke and need someone to give them money.

Well, then they'd have $4.50 and be broke after buying something at Wendy's to eat.

Congrats! You get the gold star for the single dumbest "post" or more like uneducated rant on here. Ya you get a gold star!

Show me a video, an essay, or a speech where a republican president actually used the term trickle down economics and I will show you a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. That is a term that was invented by democrats and has been repeated so often by your side that 99% of you actually believe it's an actual economic theory endorsed by Republicans. It is not. But your are too dumb to understand that or comprehend it. You just keep repeating it like a good little lib bot. Go ahead google it. Show me where it's an actual policy. The real idea Reagan had was supply side economics. It was not trickle down economics. There is a difference but your are too stupid to understand or comprehend it so why bother.

What would have happened if Obama had taken that 500 million he gave to Sylandra, and sent every U.S. citizen a million dollars everyone would have won, and Obama would have money left over, their are only 310 million legal U.S. citizens, instead he sent it to his Corny buddies also known as crony Capitalism.

Edit: @ orange 1 million times 310 = 310 million and I am not an Obama supporter I am voting for Romney. I said Obama would have money left over, he would have 200 mil left.

    Edit: here is a math lesson 1mil times 10 = 10 mil so 1 mil times 310= 310 mil

They'd disappear into obscurity as you can't run for being president of the usa if you have no money.

Their kids would most probably commit them into a mental hospital if they did that then court cases would begin to get their inheritance back...
