I use the Studio 35 Beauty Fashion Hair Brush. It's super gentle and I got it from walgreens. I have really curly wavy hair and makes my hair a lot easier that detangle. The only time I need to brush is to detangle my hair and to evenly distribute the natural oils from the scalp to my ends. That brush is also really cheap too. I used to use brushes with bristles but they always made my scalp a little sore and it took to long to get full coverage. I noticed with the paddle brush it acted like a comb and brush but combined.
