Seafoam Users: A question....?
Where do all of you , who put Seafoam into their vehicles Vacuum Lines, get the idea to do that?
No where does the maker of Seafoam tells you to do that.
There is absolutely no reason or benefits to doing it.
It goes into the gasoline and oil, no where else.

It says to do it on the bottle and on their website.
SLOWLY POUR 1/3 to ½ can of Sea Foam down the carburetor throat or into any main manifold vacuum line that DISTRIBUTES EVENLY TO ALL CYLINDERS.

A rant made by someone who does not understand how a modern multiport fuel injected engine works.
With the older cars that used a carburetor or throttle body fuel injection there was always a constant flow of gasoline through the intake manifold to keep it clean.
With modern multiport fuel injection the fuel injectors are now located pointing directly inside the intake port of the cylinder head about 1 inch from the valve.
Modern cars use a exhaust gas recirculation valve. This system constantly recirculates between 5% to 15% of the engine exhaust back into the intake manifold. The port for this system is usually located very close to the throttle body. Since you now almost constantly have exhaust gasses passing through your intake manifold with no gasoline to wash it away, carbon builds up inside the intake manifold, particularly in the plenum area.
Apparently you have never removed an intake manifold on a modern multiport fuel injected engine.

HERE, SIMPLE AND EZ : THE BEST THING TO DO WITH A CAN OF SEAFOAM,
IS THIS: JUST POUR IT INTO YOUR GAS TANK.
AND LET IT GO THRU THE NORMAL TUBES TO GET TO YOUR ENGINE.
...................
ANY OTHER WAY TO DO IT, IS JUST PLAIN STUPID. AND TROUBLESOME.
