superb question, dude. it quite is amazingly exciting that some, yet by way of no skill all, Christians at the instant can't offer a useful non-non secular argument against comparable-gender marriage. some will say that such unions undermine society, yet there is not one shred of evidence that any society in all of history ever collapsed using fact of gay unions. some argue that the kinfolk unit will fall apart, yet this too has not handed off; and actually there are various comparable-gender families who're doing quite nicely at rearing their toddlers. there is not a scintilla of certainty to the notions that gay mothers and fathers make their toddlers gay or that gay human beings recruit toddlers. this could nicely be a terror tactic used by way of the ignorant. some argue that allowing gay human beings to marry might open the floodgates to human beings eager to marry their puppy alligator. it quite is purely user-friendly moronic thinking.

  • Just cuz you don't like the religion doesn't mean you gotta hate the religious person. So long as the religious person isn't trying to force his religion upon the atheist I don't see any issues here.

The Bible does not condemn the condition of a person being homosexual; rather it indicates that homosexual ACTIVITY is against humanity and God.

Therefore following that, I have no problem at all with gay people - Jesus died for their sins just as much as he died for everyone else's! - however sexual activity between two people of same sex is seen as a sin.

[note that, I believe the church should hold to that; however society should accommodate everyone's needs in order for people to be able to live the lifestyles they desire]

Feel free to thumb me down. People get so unnecessarily annoyed and agitated on this site.

I'm Christian, and I was with my partner (who was atheistic) for 19 years before he converted to Christianity.

Obviously, I loved him when he was an atheist; and I love him now that he's a Christian.

As long as hes doesn't try to make me Christian, we would be fine.

Note that wearing clothes and eating a ham and cheese sandwich is a sin.
