How long will the iPhone 5 REALLY take to ship?

They moved to a new type of screen technology called an in-cell display. This is a radically thinner touch-screen which is what helps the iPhone 5 be so damn thin. They chose to add this screen pretty late in the manufacturing process, and therefore as Apple always does had a supply issue. They sold 5 million iPhones in the first weekend although they could have easily sold 8 million had they had enough iphones already made and shipped out, that gives u an idea of how high the demand really is.

I pre-ordered my iPhone on September 14th. It should have came on the 28th of September, but it will arrive on the 2nd of October, so that hopefully gives u an idea.

I ordered the iPhone 5 on October 2 and that i've got yet to recieve it 2 weeks later. AT&T suggested 2-3 weeks and im 2 a million/2 weeks. The order information are pending and it hasn't even shipped yet! approximately how long do you think of I actual have?

Yes. 3-4 weeks is the current estimate on Apple.com. This is due to the high demand.

it takes about 2 weeks max. better off going to the apple store and buying it there.
