Can anyone tell me what 2 and a half percent of 500 thousand is.?

Thanks for your help I just don't know if my lawyer is ripping me off.

    well i worked it out this way....

    10% = 50 000

    therefore...

    5% = 25 000

    meaning

    2.5% = 12 500

    That means if we're talking money you're lawyer will be getting $12 500 and you pocket the rest. In my opinion that sounds like you're getting an incredible deal.

    500,000 X 2.5/100 = 5000 X2.5 = 12,500 ANSWER

    2.5/100 = 0.025

    0.025 * 500,000 = 12,500 dollah
