La Gardesana occidentale te la sconsiglio perchè e tortuosa, trafficata e attraversa molti centri abitati. La migliore soluzione è quella di prendere l'Autostrada A4 e uscire a Peschiera del Garda, da cui prendere la SS 450 (sembra un'autostrada) fino ad Affi e poi Autostrada del Brennero fino a Trento.
