I first played Star Trek Online about in 2011, had to do the Pay-to-play thing. But when the Free to Play hit the news, I was worried that there would be ALOT of annoying noobs...

But actually no, when my membership expired, now I got to see the Free-to-play. It was exactly the same... Well it felt the same, but a little more things you get. Cryptic and Perfect World actually made the best idea for STO, making it free. They gained about many players, fixed some problems with the game. We are happy, they are happy. Before, it was very glitchy, I did this and that and in the end, I can't even hand in my mission that I completed and took me an hour.

So nope, no bother, it is more better than before, I think paying money for having same things is a rip off, but except that now you get in game money to buy ships, clothes, etc. I only have 2 reasons to buy membership, is in-game money and the Veteran bonus. BUT I only had one problem with the game, leveling and ranking up has became too easy, before, it was so hard to even become a Vice Admiral and a Captain. Now for my Klingon character, in 2 days he became a Lieutenant General, wow.... and for my Federation character, he became a Vice Admiral in a week. I am just saying the game to be is now a little bit boring, I want the old ranking and leveling system back.
