Yes - That would be great if he returned and help Jay through his hard times. I feel so sorry for Jay.

I think he moved back up north and as we all know, "up north" is the other end of the universe as far as Eastenders writers are concerned.
The casting of the character made me laugh, he was supposed to be a Mancunian but had a broad Yorkshire accent!
It would be realistic if he returned for a brief spell but Eastenders don't do realism.

Oh yes, I forgot about him! Didn't he have a problem with his eyesight? I doubt he would return.
