freeware desktop alarm clock wanted please..can you help?

    There used to be loads of 'Desktop gadgets' for Windows 7 & Windows Vista, but Microsoft stopped hosting the collections - the impression they give is that Windows 7 with active devices on the desktop is too much like competition for Windows 8..

    I can now only find one decent looking, free, alarm clock - see the link below.
