Have any of you tried Pure Balance dog food yet?
I know, I know, it is from WalMart and in addition is an "Old Roy" branded product :-(
I understand it is produced in the US, and Dog Food Advisor gives it 3.5 stars. We were feeding Chicken Soup For the Dog Lover's Soul, but our local pet supply has stopped carrying it. Costco is almost 50 miles away, otherwise we would feed Kirkland Signature, and the premium brands around here are sold in smaller bags. (We feed three large dogs, buying food 18 lbs at a time is not an option, plus expensive.)
Just wondering if anyone has already tried it. I welcome any thoughts on the product, or anything you may have heard from another source, good bad or indifferent. . Thank you for your time.

Haven't tried it, can't find an ingredient list for it anywhere online. It does say that it is produced from both US and imported ingredients (most likely China).
I'll look at a bag the next time I am at Walmart.
Just from the description, it sounds similar to Diamond Naturals (which I give my big dogs), and is roughly the same price. I can buy 40 pound bags of Diamond Naturals for about $40 a bag.

I saw it at wm, and it didnt look too bad.. definantly one of the better brands that wm carries.
Its not the best food you can get, granted.. but when choosing food, you have to consider what is readily available to you, and what is also affordable.

Yeah it actually tastes pretty good. I eat it in between lunch and dinner to keep me full I usually have it with a glass of orange juice.
