Do I have to pay my settlement offer if they got my name wrong?

My friend and I got caught stealing and just got settlement offers in the mail. They only got my middle initial wrong and majorly misspelled my friends name. Can it be held against us if we don't pay since its technically not us that it was mailed to?

Yes, a minor error like this will not invalidate the paperwork, just like a when police officer writes a parking ticket and gets the vehicle make and model wrong will not invalidate the ticket.
