I think in 10-15 years they're going to be... Correct now 80's songs are considered traditional rock and the 90s are up next. Correct now older humans won't want to be given The Smashing Pumkins as basic rock because of their replacement angst, but that's hypocritical due to the fact alternative 70's rock bands like midnight Oil or eighty's Billy Idol are viewed basic rock. It just takes time for things to end up "basic". These are excellent songs you picked too.

Hi Mike! Some really good ones here! Thanks for another great afternoon of blues!
1. 10++++ I love Gary and those two were born to perform together!
2. 7 - Props to them for doing something different, still, a little underwhelming.
3. 7
4. 8.5 from a white trash girl :P
5. 9 I remember this one :)
6. 10+ Just AWESOME
7. 8.5
8. 10+++++++ You know how much I love Mike Bloomfield!!!
9. 10 superb!
10.10+++
OK I get carried away...I love those blue eyed British bluesmen...
(((Mike)))
EDIT- @ Lord F - no worries, hon, we are here to learn...As Cowboy Neal has been wont to point out to me, Mike Bloomfield was "just" a session guitarist =))

1. I'll pass the first one, not my thing.
2. Now that's a different story! Love this type of blues ♥. Btw, did you notice the heart shape between the girl's collarbones and the shirt? lol
3. Good song but I kinda dislike the "shinier" sound I prefer the unrestrained take on Blues (think Johnny Winter, Jimi etc) - sounds more out of the book, rather than the natural thing. Makes sense? Top notch blues though, that's for sure.
4. WTF is he doing there?! Sounds like Blackmore, always a good thing :)
5. Pretty good, but again, there's something I deeply dislike about 80's blues. Roughen it up a bit ya know? Maybe just a pet peeve of mine though.
6. Well, he sure got his brother's hearty spirit. Energetic, and to the point. Like I like it, no wusses. The synth sounds pretty horendous though, never liked this aspect of the 70's (unless done well). The saxophone is a bit disheartening, to Jazz listeners. Good guitar though!
7. Got that ZZ Top vibe going on - lovely :)
8. Dat harmonica! love it love it love it! There's your psychedelic, experimental, oriental peeps! Original, crazy, well done. I bought a 60's Czech guitar which has that amazing oriental sound so I like it a lot - thanks :)
9. Good acoustic blues. I prefer Electric though, acoustic for folk and Spanish!
10. HARMONICA ROCK N ROLL BABY! nough said.
@ Kellee - I can't believe I've never heard of Mike Bloomfield before this guy is one of the most exceptional guitarists of all time. To be doing what's he's doing as early as 66 - puts many of them 70's guitarists to shame. Exceptional.
Source(s): Overall, Paul B is truly incredible, I loved most of the others too! One of your strongest lists mate :) - How do you think about the answers? You can sign in to vote the answer.
