What is it with Goodwill store and their high prices?

The items are donated free of charge to them. Why do they charge such high prices? I try to get some stuff that has some potential and can be fixed and painted etc... For example a coffee table looks like it can be fixed if got sanded and painted again. It will look great; however Goodwill is asking $129.99. I took a picture of it, and i wish there is a way i can show it to you.

I am a painter, and i try to get some white t-shirts for work, guess what? they were like 7.99 8.99.at Goodwill. I went to target and i got 3 white T-shirts for $10.

What’s wrong with Goodwill?
