Smirnoff vodka vs Black Label whisky?

I'm not a big drinker, I've had the red plain smirnoff vodka before. Which wasn't exactly nice. I'm going to try 'black label whisky'. What does it taste like compared to smirnoff vodka? Is it better or worse?

What's a good drink to mix whisky with. And does vodka or whisky have more alcohol? Because I had like 5 or 6 shots or something of vodka I think and was drunk. Yea so help? :)

The only thing to add to Black Label whiskey is water. Anything else spoils it. If you must add something to Scotch whiskey stick to the standard cheapest Johnny Walker Red Label blend , which is used for Scotch sours, Scotch mists, etc.

The finest Johnny Walker is the Blue Label. Drink this straight or,again, a little water.

Smirnoff vodka is a drink for the habitual drinker, rather than the occasional one. It is utilitarian vodka -- to get drunk on. If you're after quality vodka, go with the :Polish or Russian brands. Anyway, after two shots of vodka, you could drink medical ethanol without knowing the difference.

You wake up with less of a hangover if you stick exclusively to vodka the night before. Something to do with "congeners."

Poles and Russians like to eat salty foods with their vodka.

Most of the Smirnoff drunk in the US is made from corn, rather than potatoes or wheat. There's no flavoring from the grain. It's pure ethyl alcohol, watered down to a legal proof and then "rectified" with non-mineral water again to cut down on the bitter, biting taste of the original distillation. .There are a lot of Smirnoff varieties to choose from. Some are more toxic than others. By judicious sampling, you should find the one that pleases you the most.

    Smirnoff Black Label

Personally I prefer the black label over the vodka as I enjoy the taste of the scotch in my drink!

A great combination/mix for the black label whisky is coke, soda or even ginger beer! It goes really well with these three mixes!

As for the vodka, I must say that Smirnoff is a lot cheaper liquor than the black label, making in inferior in terms not only price but quality be taste! However vodkas always go great with some tonic or clear mixes!

Ok, first of all, you were most likely drunk after having 5 or 6 shots of Vodka. Second, as coming from a Russian background, it is nearly impossible for me to get drunk. Also, I prefer Jack Daniel's straight up, but, if necessary, drink whiskey over vodka. However, like I said it is nearly impossible for a Russian such as myself to get drunk. Also, a single shot of vodka and whiskey has the same amount of alchhol. Plus, I would recommend taking a vacation to Mother Russia and familiarizing yourself with the local drinkeries in Moscow or St. Petersburg (Stalingrad).
