Is homeschooling bad?

Not really! As long as you have a set of accomplishments to put in your resume, do well in SAT and similar exams you are good for college. But why are you not doing well in middle school? Think independently and stop letting everybody add an opinion for you. Genuinely diagnose the problem and fix it so you do well in school.

If you do good with your studies, it shouldn't matter to colleges if you homeschool. Many colleges actually encourage homeschool students to apply. Nor does it matter to employers as long as you are qualified for the job. I like employing homeschool students because they generally are better qualified and have a higher work ethic than regular school students.

However, homeschooling isn't necessarily easier than regular school. It depends why you think school it is hard. If you are struggling to understand the concepts, then you may be able to find different curriculum to fit your learning style and interests better, which will help. You would also be able to go at your own pace so if you needed more or less time on certain subjects you could.

Homeschooling is extremely good; some students do far better with that style of learning than they do in school. It's not for everyone, but if you're having a hard time in school it's well worth trying. Even just a year might make the difference - you don't have to make the decision forever.

If you're going to be homeschooling, you and your mom can choose all kinds of different styles, either using a curriculum, or following your interests, or total unschooling - there are many possibilities. Some colleges prefer homeschooled students because they can usually think for themselves, and have better research/study skills than those who have been through school.

Of course homeschooling isn't bad. A homeschooled friend of mine was recently accepted into Dartmouth, and I know plenty of homeschoolers who have gone on to have very successful careers. If you're having trouble in public school, homeschooling will probably help a lot. I made pretty good grades in public school, but ever since I started homeschooling, I'm making way better grades, and I find it easier tp retain information now. It's great to be the only student. You're able to go at your own pace.

Anyway, yes. You can still get into a good college and have a good career if you're homeschooled. Think about this, if you stayed in public school and made less than great grades you would have a harder time getting into a good college than you would if you were homeschooled and able to learn at your own pace. Not saying homeschooling is some magic formula to make you a genius, I just think in your case it'd be beneficiary.

No, it isn't bad. It's good for a lot of students and families. It isn't better for everyone in every situation. When it comes to choices of this type, they're personal. Your mom probably has a good sense that it's best for you. You can get into college, you can get a good job. Like anyone else, it takes hard work. Look to the positive, and start researching.

It is actually proven that a majority of homeschoolers are smarter than non-homschoolers. Also, colleges look specifically for homeschoolers. Homeschooling is awesome!!!! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. The people who say that homeschoolers are stupid are just jealous of us. Definitely homeschool!

Home Schooling I don't think is bad they just teach you work at home and you feel more comfortable I'm sure cause you've lived there a long time so I'm sure it should be easy.And maybe you can sneak into the book of answers and cheat!
