Actually it is hard work, its payrolls and timing and managing, it's supplies and scheduling, and being a mother is still being a mother, even if the nanny checks the homework.

In fact I'd say Ann probably works harder and knows more about her employees than Mitt does. Especially if she runs her houses and supervises her stables too.

Even the hiring of those workers makes for a small corporation at the least.

Women aren't thought of that way, but a good homemaker of the idle rich does the

same functions as any small business. And that's before the PR of the charity events that are mandatory for that level of social activities.

That's why you hire a housekeeper. She manages the staff while you get together at the country club with your peer group and complain about how hard it is to find good help.

The kids are a non issue. They grow up at prep schools, so you don't have to deal with them most of the year. For those pesky summer holidays there are nannies and church camps.

You underestimate Ann's challenges. She has all of those house servants at each of her six homes! How does the poor woman get through the day?
